Ariel Winter knows the only way to respond to hate is with love.

The Modern Family star shared a powerful message for her social media detractors on Instagram over the weekend, revealing how she turns online bullying into positive self worth.

"Every time someone billies me online, it gives me a chance to re-emphasize to my fans, and even myself, how important self-acceptance is." the 18-year-old actress wrote. "Those who say such harsh things on my Instagram, thank you for this opportunity - but the question I ask myself each time I read the mean comments is is this is how you talk to a stranger online, I can only imagine how cruelly you speak to yourself."

"Stop the hate," Winter added. "Accept all that you are and know your flaws are what make the PERFECT you."

"I love my fans and I love my bullies for what they truly NEED is love," she concluded. "Take the high road, there is less traffic."

This is just Winter's latest stand against bullying, as the actress -- who has herself faced a great deal of body shaming over her social media photos -- regularly promotes body confidence to her fans.

Meanwhile, the Modern Family star, who had been preparing to attend UCLA in the fall, is deferring college a year due to her work schedule.
