Kylie Jenner’s gal pal, Jordyn Woods, is getting ready to make her New York Fashion Week debut on Thursday.
And as she prepares to walk the runway for Addition Elle, the 18-year-old model credits Ashley Graham for shining the spotlight on plus-size modeling.
“Ashley Graham definitely made plus-size modeling more mainstream,” Woods tells ET at a fitting for her catwalk appearance. “Before it wasn't as trendy, and as I started to hop on the wave as well, it's now expanding and we're really creating a little fashion democracy.”
While Woods has been surrounded by veteran models during NYFW, it’s the likes of Graham whom she’s looking to for pointers.
“I take advice from every model I work with and I'm very observant, so I'll notice with Ashley how she works on-set and what works for her and adapt that to my skills and what I'm doing with my career,” says Woods.
Of course, her bestie, Jenner, is also on hand when it comes to getting advice. Woods didn’t dish on whether we might see her doing a campaign with the Jenner sisters in the future, but she did say the girls definitely help each other out with their careers.
“We're always sharing advice with each other," notes Woods. "[With] all of my friends, we're always there for each other and super-supportive.”
