There's only one way to describe Hilaria Baldwin's latest Instagram snap: badass.
Just two days after giving birth to her third child, Leonardo, with husband Alec Baldwin, the 32-year-old yoga instructor made a bold move, posting an unfiltered pic of her postpartum belly for all to see.
"I took this yesterday when Leonardo was about 24 hours old," the body-confident mother explained in the caption. "I did the same thing right after [my son] Rafael was born [last June]. It always makes me a bit nervous to do something like this, but I feel that in the age of such strong body shaming, I want to do all that I can to normalize a real body and promote healthy self-esteem."
Hilaria went on to tell her followers she's dedicating the majority of her "#366daysoflivingclearly #hilarialcm daily posts" to getting back in shape, and she invites everyone to "do it" with her.
"Many of you know that I love to show the process of life's experiences on the body," she continued. "I am a firm believer in how a good diet and the right balance of exercise make us happy, healthy, and strong."
She concluded the post by answering three "common questions" Instagram users asked her the last time she posted a similar photo.
"Did I have a c section? No, I pushed him out," she wrote. "Where are all the pads for bleeding? I took them out briefly to snap this pic as there is a limit to how much you need to see ?. Where am I? in the hospital room bathroom #glamour. Oh, and no filter. Just brightened it up a bit."
Since Leonardo's arrival, Hilaria and Alec, who are also parents to a 3-year-old daughter, Carmen, and a 1-year-old son, Rafael, haven't been able to stop gushing over their little bundle of joy. (Alec is also father to 20-year-old Ireland, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.)
"We are so pleased to introduce you to our new baby, Leonardo Ángel Charles Baldwin," Hilaria captioned a pic of herself holding her newborn. "It was such a special day bringing him into this world."
She also shared an adorable video of Carmen "being such a big sister," singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" to her new little brother for the first time.
