'Bachelor' Alum Erica Rose Welcomes Baby Girl! Find Out Her Sweet, Family-Inspired Name
Bachelor alum Erica Rose is now a mom!
The 33-year-old reality star welcomed her first child, a daughter, with boyfriend Galen Gentry on Monday.
"We are so happy to welcome Holland Rose Madeleine Gentry into the world. We added the middle name Madeleine because Galen's mom just passed away in the last two weeks," Rose explains in a statement to ET. "We named her Holland after my late Aunt Holly and a nod to Galen's Dutch ancestry. The baby is bringing so much love and light into our lives."
Rose said she had a "very smooth and easy delivery, despite needing a C-section" and noted that she had opted to turn the placenta into a smoothie "to help in the recovery process."
Baby Holland weighed in at 6 pounds, 13 ounces.
Rose, best known for her multi-season stints on The Bachelor and Bachelor Pad, previously revealed that she and Gentry were planning to tie the knot after their baby was born.
"When I found out we were pregnant, he promised to be the best husband to me and the best father to our baby," she said.
The couple started dating in November 2015 after meeting at work. She is the director of business development for Gentry Law Group, where he is an attorney.
"I’m really excited to be a mom because I’ve felt it’s my life purpose more than anything," Rose previously told ET. "I think Galen will be an amazing father since he already is one to his teenage son. So for now, we are just focusing on strengthening our relationship and just getting ready for the baby!"
