Lydia Hearst is loving the newlywed life!

Just two months after saying "I do," the 32-year-old actress and heiress to the Hearst publishing fortune stopped by ET's studio in Burbank, California, on Monday, where she spilled on married life with Chris Hardwick, living together for the first time and, of course, babies.

"Well, we get to spend more time together because now we're living together," she told ET's Katie Krause of her and Hardwick's life post-marriage. "So that's a plus. I mean, we've both literally become best friends throughout our relationship, so it's nice that I get to fall asleep with my best friend by my side, and I get to wake up and he's still there."

"During the days," she continued, "I can call him or text him about anything and everything, and I get excited whenever I see him. So it's fun, I love it."

Hearst, who is the ambassador to this year's Screamfest (America's largest and longest-running horror film festival in Hollywood), revealed one of her favorite things to do as a wife (so far!) is cuddle up with Hardwick on the couch and put on a thriller.

"We watch pretty much anything, everything, all things horror," she explained. "We love horror, it's an incredible genre and it's one of those things where it's fun to see what the directors are doing, [the] cinematography. There's so many layers."

But when it comes to The Walking Dead, Hearst revealed that just because her husband is the host of the AMC series' official after-show, Talking Dead, doesn't mean she gets a sneak peek at the show before anyone else.

"Obviously we watch a lot of Walking Dead, 'cause that's his job and it's amazing, but I don't get to see anything before the fans see it," Hearst confirmed. "I maybe see it an hour before, but he never watches it before either, so I don't know anything that's happening until it's pretty much live with everybody else."

In addition to watching horror shows and movies, the lovebirds usually cook dinner together "every night," which Hearst says is actually quite a challenge. "Remembering to clean up after [is hard]," she joked. "Sometimes you just really don't want to clean the dishes after you've prepared meals and done the whole thing!"

As for babies? Hearst revealed they've definitely had the kid talk, but it will be a while before they expand their family.

"I think in a year we'll start toying with the idea," she gushed. "We are [talking kids], but we want to sort of be together and celebrate our relationship and at least have one year before we start trying."

"I think two [kids] might be our limit, but who knows," she added. "I mean, that's what my sister [Gillian] said and she's about to have her third!"

Hearst and Hardwick, 44, tied the knot in August at the Langham Huntington, a luxury resort hotel in Pasadena, California. She said she knew he was "the one" when she spotted him "running into a field to herd cattle" during a couple’s getaway to a ranch.

"I know it sounds bizarre, but he was playing with all these cattle dogs and puppies and he literally took off into the field running after the cows, and it was that instant moment where, I already knew that I loved him, but in that moment, I was like, 'Oh my gosh, I have to spend the rest of my life with this man. I love him so much,'" she explained, adding that the day they officially tied the knot was "such a fairy tale."

"There was so much that happened and it was so surreal and so perfect," she continued. "It was fun."

Fun, indeed!
