Grey’s Anatomy star Camilla Luddington is eating for two!
The British actress shared the exciting news on Wednesday, posting an adorable snap of her holding a pumpkin with gold lettering announcing the baby’s arrival in spring 2017.
“I am SO excited to FINALLY share with you all news that [I've] managed to keep secret for what seems like forever now… I am pregnant!!!!!!” the 32-year-old wrote on Instagram. “This girl gets to be a ‘cool mom’ ha!”

This will be the first child for Luddington and her beau, actor Matt Alan.
“We are beyond happy,” she continued, accompanying her post with several heart emojis, “and I cannot wait to bring you all on this journey with me!!!!”
Luddington, who plays Dr. Jo Wilson on Grey’s, promised to keep the fans and her followers informed as she embarks on her pregnancy journey.

“But for now I figured [I'd] post this pumpkin because come spring [I'll] have a belly that size,” Luddington adorably wrote.
It is unclear whether Luddington’s real-life pregnancy will be written into the show or if she will take time off once her due date nears. ET has reached out to ABC for comment.
She is just the latest actress in the Shondaland universe to be pregnant or recently given birth.
ET was first to report in August that Luddington’s Grey’s co-star, Caterina Scorsone,was expecting her second child, while Jessica Capshawwelcomed a baby girl in May. Scandal star Kerry Washington also recently gave birth to her second child, a baby boy.
