Fans will soon be able to own a hardcover version of J.K. Rowling's screenwriting debut, and she previewed the elaborate cover on Thursday.

"Advance copies never, ever lose their thrill! #FantasticBeasts" Rowling wrote on Twitter along with a picture of the whimsical black-and-gold cover.

While the original 2001 book, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, purports to be one of Harry Potter's textbooks written by fictional magizoologist Newt Scamander, the 2016 screenplay details the adventures Scamander experienced 70 years before Potter read his book in school.

The screenplay is just one of Rowling's new undertakings this year, as she also collaborated on a stage play called Harry Potter and the Cursed Child that premiered at the Palace Theater in London's West End over the summer.
