The toned star was recently on the cover of 'Shape' magazine.

Apparently the secret to Jessica Alba’s insane body is not regular workouts! The Honest Company founder, 35, visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing Monday, where she accidentally let it slip that she rarely goes to the gym.

“You walk up and down and it’s like you’re getting exercise,” she said of her hilly California neighborhood, “so I didn’t even need to go to the gym – not like I go to the gym.”

When host DeGeneres questioned her about the statement, she admitted, “I should go to the gym.”

“You really look horrible. I was going to tell you, you should start taking care of yourself because you really let yourself go,” DeGeneres sarcastically quipped, calling out Alba’s recent Shape magazine cover.

But the mother of two insisted that she’s not as fit as she looks, saying, “You know how you, like, cover the bits and you know how to do the [pose]. So that’s what I was doing.”

Regardless of her clothing size or bikini shots, Alba is devoted to making sure women of all shapes and sizes love themselves.

She opened up about her Honest Beauty brand, saying, “There are so many different ideas of what is beautiful and so many beauty companies want you to become someone else. And we’re just enhancing and celebrating your own beauty and that’s what Honest Beauty is all about.”
