The L’Oreal spokeswoman was excited to come out for such a good cause, telling reporters, “It’s nice to work for a company that when they sit you down, they say, ‘We have something very important.’ It’s not talking about makeup. It’s not talking about some commercial they’re doing. It’s this event. They say, ‘It’s where we celebrate women who are changing the world.’ It really puts things into perspective and it’s nice to give back to them.”

At the event, The Shallows actress introduced Carly Yoost, the co-founder of a charity that helps save children from predators.

She was also joined by plenty of celebrity guests, including Diane Keaton, Andie MacDowell, Eva Longoria, and fellow member of Taylor Swift’s squad, Karlie Kloss.

Both Lively and her hubby, Ryan Reynolds, have been open about their mutual desire to have a big family. The Deadpool actor also shared a sweet story about when they first fell in love in the recent issue of GQ.

"We were hanging out at this little restaurant in Tribeca that’s open really late, and this song came on and I was just like, 'Want to dance?' No one was in there, so it was just totally empty," Reynolds told the mag. "And it was just one of those moments where halfway through the dance, I was like, 'Oh, I think I just crossed a line.' And then I walked her home. And, uh, you know, I don’t really need to go into what happened after that."
