EXCLUSIVE: Tour Heather Dubrow's 'Girl Cave,' Her Ultra-Luxe Closet -- Complete With a Champagne Doorbell!

It’s finally time to go inside Chateau Dubrow!

Only ET was invited to Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow’s brand new mansion for an exclusive tour of her custom closet.

“I have to say, out of the entire house, this was the easiest room to design,” Heather tells ET. “It was just for me ... I had a very clear vision of what I wanted.”

“[My husband] Terry's got a man cave, he's got a media room, he's got all these areas,” she continues. “But this? This is mine! When I was a little girl, if I was upset or something, I'd go into my closet. It wasn't fabulous like this … but it made me feel safe. And I just liked it … This is my girl cave! It's the place where I put two chairs so we can hang out.”

The closet takes up an estimated 400 square feet in Dubrow’s 20,000 square-foot home, and features design elements reminiscent of a Chanel boutique. Everything is black, white and silver. 

“I just wanted it to be crisp and clean,” she adds. “I like everything behind glass … when I walk in, I want to see the pretty things.”

Heather’s “pretty things” include 15 leather jackets, at least 50 pairs of jeans, dozens of designer scarves, many fashions seen on the Bravo reality show, more than 100 handbags (lots of Chanel!) and nearly 200 shoes. She admits footwear is the one fashion area she doesn’t skimp on.

“You have to go quality,” she says. “Especially with mine, I had a 14-piece big band that I sang with for four and a half years, I was wearing high heels, five nights a week, and my feet got trashed!”

The 47-year-old mom of four confesses she did her “research” while planning the closet, going into stores she loves and taking notes on how they display their merchandise.

“This is one of those rooms where, if something special caught my eye and I needed to have it, I did not say no,” she shares. “I definitely put little things in.”

The star’s eye-catching additions include a library ladder to reach secret shelves, a key-coded center island with custom-made cubbies for every piece of her jewelry, glittery carpet, oversized chandeliers and, yes, an on-demand champagne doorbell, which rings downstairs in the family’s kitchen.

“I spend a lot of time here,” Heather admits. “I do work in here. This room connects to my beauty salon, so I tend to get dressed and then come into my closet and hang out … there's padlocks on both doors, deadbolts with codes that only I know. So, literally, no one can come in.”

Heather is inviting people into the space, though -- on YouTube. She just launched her own series, Heather’s Closet, with new episodes every week.

“I love talking about fashion,” she gushes. “You know, a lot of people ask me about how I pack, and how I pull outfits together and all those different things. So every week, that's what we're highlighting.”
