Just two days before the sudden death of Alan Thicke, his wife, Tanya Thicke, shared a candid moment with her husband on Instagram.
"I've got the cutest designated driver EVER!!!" she captioned a photo of herself and Thicke on Sunday. "JP & @eloisedejoria sure know how to throw a party! Thx you for having us. #friendsforever #patron #family."

Last week, Tanya posted a sweet throwback photo of herself, along with Thicke and her stepson, Carter Thicke.
"When you’re just trying to get that perfect Xmas card pic! #2010 #tbt," she captioned the photo, which was taken in 2010.

The couple married on May 7, 2005, just one month after announcing their engagement. Thicke, best known for his role as patriarch Jason Seaver on the '80s sitcom Growing Pains, died on Tuesday at age 69 after suffering a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Tanya, and three sons, Brennan, Robin and Carter.
