"Arriving right on schedule in a snowstorm...the love our lives is finally here," the new mom shared on Instagram Saturday night. "Meet Calvin Bradley Fichera: 11:52am, 8.3lbs, 20.5" long. And by the way, childbirth is no joke!! OUCH!!"
Dreyer's husband, NBC Nightly News cameraman Brian Fichera, also took to Instagram to share the happy news, even posting a video of the couple on the way to the hospital,
which he captioned, "In a New York minute! #rightontime."
"What’s going on, Dy?" he joked in the video of the two in a cab.
"Well, we're going to the hospital... because I think I'm gonna have a baby," Dryer replied.
The proud new dad later shared a picture of
the birth announcement sign on Calvin's hospital crib.
"From this day forward my entire life is dedicated to always being there for our son," he wrote alongside the sweet post. "Dylan is doing amazing baby is doing amazing!!! Thank you all for your kind words!!! Cue parenting!"
