Miles Teller Assures Fans He and His Girlfriend Are OK Following Car Accident, Calls Out Other Driver

Miles Teller breaks his silence on his scary car crash on Thursday night.

Miles Teller is grateful that nobody was seriously injured after he was involved in a scary car crash on Thursday night in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old actor was with his girlfriend, Keleigh Sperry, at the time, when he "got cut off" by another vehicle, LAPD Officer Hayhurst told ET on Friday. Teller and Sperry were not transported to the hospital for any injuries following the crash, however, the two passengers in the car that cut Teller off were transported to the hospital.

Teller tweeted on Friday that he and Sperry were OK following the accident. He also called out the other driver's "irrational and ignorant" driving.

"Me and @keleighsperry are okay," Teller wrote. "I hope the other passengers are as well. The other driver pulled into oncoming traffic and [a] bad accident was unavoidable. This woman's irrational and ignorant decision put our lives and her passengers in very real danger. Happy we could walk away."

The investigation into the car accident is still ongoing. Hayhurst told ET that both cars involved had to be towed from the scene.

This isn't Teller's first experience dealing with a serious car accident. When the Whiplash star was 20 years old, he was involved in a near fatal car crash. Interestingly enough, Teller's characters in both 2014's Whiplash and this year's Bleed for This also suffered brutal car accidents.
