ABC ushered in a new year with a new Bachelor! On Sunday, the network aired The Bachelor: Countdown to Nick, a special celebrating Nick Viall, who will be looking for love on season 21. The one-hour event revealed a few key things ahead of The Bachelor’s Monday premiere: the woman with a past and an apparent villain!

The network has teased that a “woman from Nick’s past” would come back to haunt Viall. It seems that woman is Liz, a brunette beauty from Las Vegas who revealed during the special that she met Viall in January 2015 at the wedding of Bachelor in Paradise contestants Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert. Liz said they “had a lot of alcohol” and “had a lot of fun,” but she wasn’t sure if Viall would remember her. When asked by a producer if the two spent the night together, Liz laughed and replied, “I plead the fifth!”

But during a sneak peek of the season, the truth is seemingly revealed. Liz is shown telling another contestant, “I have met Nick before. We had sex.”

When asked how he’d handle anyone from his past appearing on the new season, Viall didn’t seem concerned. “As far as my relationships, whether it's been on TV or not, my past is my past,” he told ET during an exclusive interview on the set of his first Bachelor photo shoot on Sept 21. “While I've been very fortunate to meet some great women, for me I feel like those ships have sailed.”

Viewers also got a preview of a contestant who will likely become a season villain. To the dismay of the other women, 24-year-old Corinne removes her bikini top in one scene with the 36-year-old. Later, she’s heard saying, “I just want Nick now, and I will do whatever it takes to make sure at the end it’s just me and him…I am not a runner-up and my sex abilities are definitely top notch.”

Then, she’s seen heading to Viall’s hotel room by herself. “Tonight I am going to see Nick and I am going to have sex with him,” Corinne tells the camera.

This comes after Viall promised ET a “steamy” season, but also said he would not hook up with women before the Fantasy Suites.
