The British crooner, 25, even has the word “Prince” tattooed in the show’s colorful font on his bicep. One Capital FM caller knew this and decided to make a special request from Sheeran during his appearance on the radio show on Wednesday.

The caller said her two loves were Sheeran and Fresh Prince and asked if he would sing the show’s iconic theme song.

The GRAMMY winner happily accepted the challenge, strumming out a uniquely acoustic version of the hip-hop tune.

But that wasn’t the only surprise Sheeran gifted fans with this week. Early on Thursday, he posted news on his upcoming album, ÷ (pronounced divide).
