Even superstar moms like Reese Witherspoon have their doubts!
The 40-year-old actress spoke with ET’s Nischelle Turner at the premiere of her upcoming HBO miniseries, Big Little Lies, about the struggles she faces as a mother of three.
“I think I'm sort of a blend of a lot of these different mothering styles,” Witherspoon revealed. “You have five different distinct parenting styles on this show, and we're all just trying to be the best parents we possibly can be, so I think it's always that question: Am I doing the right things? Am I exposing them to the right things? Am I disciplining the right way? And in this show kind of really brings up a lot of questions.”

One big question for Witherspoon these days is whether this project will be a hit. In addition to starring in the show, the Oscar winner is also an executive producer.
“I got nervous today, I don't normally get nervous but I'm just so excited and it is such a passion project for me,” she said. “Nicole [Kidman] and I worked so hard to get this book to the screen and put together this cast and find the director and the writer, so it's just exciting to see the fruits of all that come here and see people excited about it.”

Witherspoon brought her 17-year-old lookalike daughter, Ava Phillippe, as her red carpet date on Tuesday night, and the two happily posed on the red carpet together. “So proud of my awesome mama and her passion for this project," Ava captioned an Instagram pic from the event. "It is so nice to see these wonderful, talented women in roles just as dynamic as they are. #biglittlelies.”
Big Little Lies premieres Sunday, Feb. 19 on HBO.
