Katy Perry is feeling extra grateful for the women in her life.
The 32-year-old singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate International Women's Day with a message thanking her mother, "blood sister" and "earth sisters" for their support, while encouraging women everywhere to "lift each other up."

"So grateful for all the women in my life from my mother to my blood sister to my earth sisters and beyond! I thank them for raising me and letting me take refuge in their wings. I am who I am (destination still unknown) because of the strength and love of my sisters," Perry wrote.
"They are mindful, compassionate and intelligent! I am humbled by their wisdom and the grace they share with me especially... when I don't always get it right," she continued. "Today I stand with all women! Now is the time we truce and join together to lift each other up as the Goddesses we know we are."
"❤S/O WOMEN! ❤#internationalwomensday," she captioned the message.
Perry isn't the only one embracing International Women's Day. Suits star Meghan Markle also took to social media to share a message about reminding girls of their worth.
