"She's successful for a reason."
Justin Theroux has no problem taking his work home to wife Jennifer Aniston.
In the May issue of Esquire magazine, the 45-year-old actor-writer opens up about having a career in the same industry as Aniston, and how that affects their marriage. "She's successful for a reason. We're not in competition." he insists. "If I was competing for the same job as her, I might be less forgiving."

In fact, Theroux -- whose screenwriting credits include Tropic Thunder and Iron Man 2 -- says his wife and friends inspire his writing. "I have very funny friends and a very funny wife," he brags. "I bounce ideas off of them. If I get a deep belly laugh, I know I've hit something."
As for the fame that comes with being married to a former Friends star, Theroux has an interesting outlook. "A friend once told me, 'Another you has been born, this insane person who's constantly breaking up, getting back together, having a baby, losing a baby," he quips, referring to how he and Aniston are portrayed in the tabloids.
While it appears Theroux has marriage figured out, he's not so keen on offering up advice. "I’m not giving any marriage tips," the Leftovers star says. "I am no brighter than any man."

In an exclusive interview with ET earlier this month, Theroux not only said there's no competition between himself and Aniston, he also shared that he'd like to work with his wife. After all, the two already worked together on the comedy Wanderlust. "If the right thing came around I would definitely [write] it," Theroux explained. "We toss around ideas occasionally, but it's got to be something I want to write and something she wants to act in, which is harder than you might think."
