Lena Dunham is home resting after being rushed to the emergency room following the 2017 Met Gala.

The 30-year-old actress walked the star-studded red carpet at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, but she skipped the glitzy after-parties and headed to a local hospital.

While the nature of her medical emergency remains unclear, the Girls creator is already on the mend, a source tells ET.

"Lena is at home resting and doing well." the source says. "As you know she's very public about her battles with endometriosis."

A rep for Dunham had no comment.

Last month, Dunham revealed that she was endometriosis-free, after undergoing surgery.

"My surgery went off without a hitch," she wrote in a Lenny letter on her website. "When I emerged, cotton-mouthed, [Dr. Randy Harris] told me something I hadn’t expected to hear, maybe ever: there was no endometriosis left. Between my surgeries and hormonal intervention, I was disease-free."

Despite the clean bill of health, Dunham acknowledged that her years-long battle with the uterine disorder may not be over.

"That doesn't mean it can never return," she admitted. "But for now, once my sutures have been removed and my bruises have changed from blue to yellow to green to gone, I will be healthy."
