Mercedes ‘MJ’ Javid is shredding for the wedding.

“I definitely need to shed, no matter what,” the Shahs of Sunset star tells ET. “Last year was a really tough year for me. I went through hell. I definitely wasn't watching what I was eating or taking care of myself, so now I really pulled a 180.”

ET caught up with the reality personality at the Associates for Breast and Prostate Cancer Studies' annual Mother's Day luncheon in Beverly Hills, California, on Wednesday.

“[I] work out every day,” she shares. “I'm really eating really clean, I'm not drinking as much alcohol … I just feel completely different.”

“You know when they say from the inside out?” Javid asks. “I feel amazing. But, you know, it's a long road.”

The 44-year-old got engaged to marketing professional Tommy Feight in 2015, and the pair is currently planning their big day.

“We know so far it’ll be 200 guests, hopefully less,” Javid spills. “I think the lower number, the sexier. It will be local [and] in less than a year. That's the most I can go.”

Javid is hopeful Shahs cameras will be there to capture the event, but chances are it won’t be featured on the upcoming sixth season, which is expected to premiere this summer.

“It was actually shot a year ago,” Javid confesses, adding that she’s aiming for her wedding to take place during “the next time we shoot.”

As for what fans can expect from the forthcoming season, Javid says brace yourselves.

“It's going to be us, like a big dysfunctional family, going through hell and back,” she says. “It is going to be very uncomfortable for everyone, especially me. You'll see me go through the hardest thing I've ever gone through with my family, and transition from being single to being almost married. So, we just go through it all. It's definitely growing pains. But we're also a hot mess. Like, I need to relocate to Guam or some place where they don't have Bravo.”
