Prince William Visits Cancer Hospital, Shares Sweet Moment With 6-Year-Old Patient

Prince William spent his morning giving back.

The 34-year-old royal, who became President of the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust 10 years ago, visited the hospital's facilities in Sutton on Tuesday, supporting staff and meeting with patients in the cancer ward.

After visiting the radiotherapy department, William headed to the Oak Centre for Children and Young People, where he accompanied two staff nurses in calling patients for chemotherapy and checking blood pressure. The father of two quickly made friends with a 6-year-old patient named Daisy Wood.

Later, William met with other kids in the playroom for an arts and crafts session, before wishing a young patient named Annabelle a happy third birthday.
