Kirsten Dunst is getting candid about her true thoughts on the Spider-Man reboots.

The 35-year-old actress starred as Mary Jane Watson in the Sam Raimi-helmed films last decade, and while Sony continues to reboot the franchise, Dunst doesn’t think the latest films can compare.

“I don’t care,” she said about the reboots, in a new interview with Variety. “Everyone likes our Spider-Man. C’mon, am I right or what? Listen, I’d rather be in the first ones than the new ones.”

Promoting her new filmThe Beguiled, Dunst also confessed that she was asked by director, Sofia Coppola, to drop pounds for the role and refused.

“It’s so much harder when you’re 35 and hate working out,” she explained.

Dunst stars opposite Colin Farrell as a shy teacher in the Southern gothic thriller, which will premiere at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival before hitting theaters on June 23.

Filmed in Louisiana over 21 days, Dunst noted the location made it even harder to lose weight.

“I’m eating fried chicken and McDonald’s before work, so I’m like, ‘We have no options! I’m sorry, I can’t lose weight for this role,’” she said.

One piece of advice Dunst did take from Coppola? Not fixing her teeth!

Having met the director when she was just 16, Dunst recalled how Copppla was “always a good influence on me as a young woman,” and made a memorable compliment about her teeth.

“She said to me, ‘I love your teeth; don’t ever fix your teeth,’” Dunst shared. “I remember doing a Spider-Man movie later, and one of the producers was like, ‘I need to take you to the dentist!’ They even fixed my teeth on the poster. But I just knew I was never doing that. Sofia is the chicest, coolest girl, and she thinks my teeth are great. She gave me confidence in little things that I wouldn’t necessarily have had.”
