Drake Bell is heartbroken in the wake of his ex-girlfriend Stevie Ryan’s death. The 31-year-old actor took to Twitter on Monday to mourn Ryan after she was found dead in her apartment at age 33 after an apparent suicide.

“No no no!!!! I can NOT BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING!!!!” Bell tweeted along with a photo of himself with Ryan. “Please wake me from this nightmare @StevieRyan I loved you and will forever miss you!”
Several hours later, Bell tweeted an article about Ryan’s death, writing, “This is too much. My heart is crushed. @StevieRyan I love you and miss you...”
Bell and Ryan dated from 2005 to 2006.
The Los Angeles Coroner’s Office confirmed to ET on Monday that Ryan was found dead in her home and an autopsy confirmed that the cause of death was a suicide by hanging.
