The HGTV stars also exclusively pitch their ideal 'This Is Us' cameo.

This Is Us is making it very clear that they're fans of the Property Brothers.

HGTV personalities Drew and Jonathan Scott received a memorable shout-out on Tuesday's episode, when Randall Pearson (Sterling K. Brown) gets excited over the prospect of fixing up a rundown apartment building with his wife, Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson), and gets a little too enthusiastic about the timeline. "You're right, I've been watching too much Property Brothers, I gotta slow my roll," Randall says with a child-like interest.

"We are big fans of This Is Us," the Scott brothers exclusively told ET. "How humbling to know we have a big enough impact on people’s lives to warrant a shout-out on such an incredible series. This really is a reflection of real-life stories and the struggle people endure to try and provide their families with a safe and decent home. That’s why we’ve partnered with Habitat for Humanity, because we believe everybody should have a place they love to call home."

The Scott brothers were recognized by Habitat for Humanity as Habitat Humanitarians in November, so the This Is Us reference couldn't have been more timely. Drew and Jonathan also pitched the perfect cameo on the hit NBC drama, should it ever come to fruition.

"We would totally make an appearance on their show," they said. "Do they need any slow-motion renovation scenes?"

After the episode, fans were clamoring for a This Is Us-Property Brothers crossover of some sort, even suggesting that Brown and his onscreen brother, Kevin (played by Justin Hartley), could make an appearance on the popular HGTV home renovation show.

"As for Property Brothers, since we work with real-life families who are buying and renovating ... if that’s them... We know people, who know people, and could get them to the top of the reno pile," they said, adding a caveat: "If they’re in the city we’re filming in!"

We can only hope!

Property Brothers airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV. This Is Us will air its special Super Bowl episode on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 10:15 p.m. ET/7:15 PT (tentative) on NBC.
