The "Fight Song" singer opened the NWSL game in Utah on Saturday.

Rachel Platten had to restart the national anthem twice after appearing to forget the lyrics while performing the song at an NWSL soccer game in Sandy, Utah, on Saturday.

The “Fight Song” singer started belting out the anthem’s opening line, but paused after “Oh, say can you see.” Immediately beginning the track over, she once again couldn’t get past the first few words.

At that point, the 36-year-old songstress grinned uncomfortably as the crowd took over singing the song. She eventually joined back in. In a video posted by a game attendee on YouTube, a crowd member can be heard saying, “We all get nervous!”

On Monday, Platten reacted to the moment on Twitter, writing: "Still feeling so embarrassed about this. I'm so sorry to everyone -- once again."

The musician was opening the game between the Utah Royals and Chicago Red Stars at Rio Tinto Stadium.

ET has reached out to Platten's reps for comment.
