The British director will helm the upcoming fourth 'Star Trek' film, which is reportedly centered on Chris Hemsworth's George Kirk.

S.J. Clarkon will direct Star Trek 4.

The British female director, whose credits include Jessica Jones, Orange is the New Black, Dexter and Bates Motel, will helm the next movie in the Star Trek film franchise, Variety reports -- becoming the first woman to do so.
