The reality show couple have welcomed their third child.
It’s baby number three for Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell and her husband, Tyler Baltierra!
The couple announced the birth of their baby girl on Thursday, when Baltierra posted a photo of Catelynn's chart, writing, "She's here & I'm in love!"
The image notes that the little girl weighed six pounds, and four ounces at birth with the note, "Healthy mom & healthy baby."
The reality star cut off the name listed, but it starts with the letter "V," which is a departure from the name they'd originally picked out in a December episode of the MTV series, Tezlee. Catelynn was originally due to give birth on March 6.
Catelynn first teased her daughter’s arrival on Tuesday, Feb. 6, posting to Instagram, “I think this baby is gonna come soon!”
On Wednesday, Feb. 13, she gave fans another update, writing on Instagram, "Dilated to a 3 and having contractions! This little girl wants to come!!"
This little one is the couple's third daughter together.
They first placed their daughter, Carly, up for adoption in 2009 during an emotional episode of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant. Catelynn and Tyler then joined the cast of Teen Mom, advocating for adoption and showing the process on camera.
On New Year’s Day 2015, they welcomed their second daughter, Novalee, whom they parent together. This past season of Teen Mom OG has been a difficult one for Catelynn and Tyler, who have been struggling in their marriage.
Catelynn suffered a traumatic miscarriage in 2017, which led to her spending time in a treatment facility for depression.
After getting counselling both individually and together, Tyler came to the decision that he wanted to try a month-long separation in which they lived apart to work on themselves, while not seeing other people.
Though they have not publicly shared how the separation has gone, Catelynn did recently call out a headline saying the couple had gotten divorced on Instagram, writing, “Nooo we are not #dontbelievethehype.”
Back in January, the couple posted sweet family photos to social media in honor of Novalee’s fourth birthday.
“I love my family more than words could express and I’m so happy where we are in life and proud of all the work we have done and I just love the love we share in this little family tribe we created and I can’t wait to meet the newest little member! #HappyNewYear #HappyBirthdayNovalee," read the post.
