The streaming giant has released the trailer for The Two Popes, director Fernando Meirelleswhich's witty two-hander about Pope Benedict XVI (played by Anthony Hopkins) -- who shocked the world when he resigned in 2013 -- and his successor, Pope Francis (Jonathan Pryce).

The preview begins with chit chat about the Beatles before exploring the duo's drastically differing ideologies -- while Benedict is very conservative, Francis is notably liberal. "You've been one of my harshest critics," Benedict tells his counterpart. "The way you live is a criticism. Your shoes are a criticism."

"You don't like my shoes?" Francis responds amiably.
