'CSI: NY' Recreates 9/11

The impact of 9/11 has been a part of CSI: NY since day one -- Gary Sinise's character, Detective Mac Taylor, lost his wife in the attacks. Now, to mark the 10th anniversary of that national tragedy, the series is kicking off their eighth season by recreating the events of that day.

ET was on the set with Sinise and co-star Sela Ward as they shared their own memories of September 11, 2001 -- a day that was particularly impactful for the actress as one of her dear friends was piloting the plane which crashed into the Pentagon. Watch our behind-the-scenes visit of this important episode.
