Paula Abdul Confronts Maks after 'DWTS'
Next week's Dancing with the Stars guest judge Paula Abdul paid a visit to the cast after the show on Tuesday and had a bone to pick with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who she thought was being too hard on his dance partner, Kirstie Alley. Knowing that she would be judging him next week, Chmerkovskiy quickly rectified the situation.
"Stop doing that! You just bug her too much, I think," Abdul said, slightly facetiously, after Chmerkovskiy criticized Alley for the way she hugged her. "I just think he needs to back off a little bit. I mean, she hugs me just fine. It's you that I have a problem with."

The group is all smiles when Maks proposes to redeem himself and gives Abdul, who is more than a foot shorter than him, a bear hug that lifts her off the floor. With Abdul potentially holding his and Alley's fate next week, he didn't stop at swooning her after she left his presence.
"I will stalk her in the parking lot. We have Charleston next week. I will do everything. I got this," said Maks, who has yet to win a Mirrorball Trophy despite finishing in second with Alley on Dancing's twelfth season. "Paula, here I come."
However, Chmerkovskiy wasn't the only male who was excited about Abdul's appearance on the show. When asked about her upcoming guest judging, actor Gilles Marini couldn't contain himself from breaking out into dance.

"This is when I realized, 'Man, I really like women,'" Marini recalled of watching Abdul's music videos on VHS. "I didn't have a crush on Paula Abdul, it was my dream to be with her."
Marini and Chmerkovskiy are among the majority of the Dancing cast members who are excited to have Abdul on the show. Sabrina Bryan, who was an avid fan of Abdul growing up, was jumping out of her shoes in eager anticipation.
"I'm so excited I get to do a disco in front of Paula! I love [her]! This is going to be so amazing!" she said with delight. "She's such a sweetheart. I got to meet her really quickly when I went to 'Idol' once, but I'm so excited!"
