What Happens When Melissa and Joan Rivers Go Mother's Day Shopping at a 99 Cent Only Store?

If you’re looking for a perfect Mother’s Day gift idea, this probably won’t help. But, it will entertain you!

Between hosting Fashion Police on E! and starring in their WE tv reality series Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best?, Joan and Melissa Rivers don’t get much time to hit the shopping scene. So, in honor of Mother’s Day, ET sent the famous mother-daughter duo to a “99 Cent Only” store to search for the perfect gift for mom.

So how did the trip go? Let’s just say they found some unusual gifts for each other. “Ooo air horn, something louder than you,” Melissa said. While Joan picked up a pregnancy test at checkout, much to her daughters dismay. “Melissa allow me to dream,” the 80-year-old said.

They did manage to get down to business and find something every mother adores … flowers! Which Melissa made sure to get an abundance of, much to Joan’s dismay. “Melissa stop it, I'm starting to look like my casket,” the comedian joked.
