Gwen Stefani is Out, Christina Aguilera is Back In For Season 8 of 'The Voice'

After a two season hiatus, Christina Aguilera is returning to The Voice for season 8, while Gwen Stefani will be stepping away from the singing competition show.

The show announced the change on Tuesday via Twitter, writing:

Xtina has kept busy during her time off by welcoming her a baby girl with her fiancé Matt Rutler.
NEWS: Cee Lo Green Leaves The Voice
The pop star, one of the four original judges, has had two replacements during her time away: Sharkira (season 6) and Gwen (season 7). The other three original judges were Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Of that core group, only Cee Lo Green will be absent from the panel, leaving room for a new face -- Pharrell Williams -- who has been added to the dais.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesday at 8/7c on NBC.
