Bethenny Frankel is coming back to Bravo. Despite denying reports earlier this month, Frankel has confirmed that she is in fact returning to The Real Housewives of New York City for season 7.

"I'm genuinely excited, with a side of slightly nervous, for my return to The Real Housewives of New York City," the Skinnygirl mogul announced on Monday in a statement. "Bravo has always been the place on television where I have the freedom to be unfiltered, honest and inappropriate, with an audience who has been with me from the beginning. I can't wait to see what this next chapter brings for all of us. Watch what happens!"

In addition to her official statement, Frankel also made a little joke on Twitter about her return, writing: "How come I'm never a housewife when I'm a housewife?"

Housewives
executive producer and Watch What Happens host Andy Cohen is also celebrating Frankel's return. "Bethenny is one of the most popular Housewives in the history of the franchise," he said in a statement. "I couldn't be more excited she is coming home to Bravo!"

Earlier this month, Frankel sort of denied reports of her Real Housewives return, confirming that she was working with Cohen ...but adding that it's not what people think. "Well I feel like I’m going to get in trouble if I say what I’m actually doing with Andy," she said on Sirius XM's Just Jenny show. "I don’t know that I’m going back to reality TV. There are some shows that I’m talking about that have a little bit of structure in reality."

Apparently, she changed her mind about reality TV.

In February, Frankel's daytime program Bethenny was canceled, and her 2010 spin-off Bravo reality show, Bethenny Getting Married?, wouldn't be as easy to return to as Housewives -- seeing as she's been in an ugly divorce with her estranged husband Jason Hoppy since 2012. The two share a four-year-old daughter named Bryn.

The 43-year-old TV star left RHONY four years ago and will return to find some new faces on the show. LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer are the only original members on the series, and currently star alongside Sonja Morgan, Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson and Kristen Taekman. In addition to Frankel, Us also reports that Kelly Bensimon and Jill Zarin are in talks to return for cameos in season 7.

Do you think it's a good idea for Frankel to come back to RHONY?

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
star Kyle Richards already thanked Frankel on Twitter, writing: "Welcome "home" sister!! XXOO @Bethenny."

Over the summer on the West Coast, Lisa Vanderpump spoke with ET about her future with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills franchise. Maybe she too will move to New York!
