EXCLUSIVE: 'Scrubs' Star Judy Reyes Joins 'Jane the Virgin' - Find Out Who She's Playing!

Ay dios mio — we still love Jane the Virgin!

Not only does the CW comedy feature a dynamic leading lady and some swoon-worthy actors, but now they're adding some top-notch guest stars to the mix.

Judy Reyes — best known for her work as the hilarious nurse on Scrubs — will be stepping out of her hospital uniform and into a power-suit for multi-episode arc on Jane the Virgin.

Reyes will join the freshman series after the New Year as Dina, the head writer of Rogelio’s (Jaime Camil) telenovela The Passions of Santos.

Since Scrubs ended in 2009, Reyes has appeared in a number of TV series before landing the role of sassy Zoila Diaz in the Lifetime series Devious Maids, which will return for a third season in 2015.

Due to Reyes' experience in the telenovela–adapted world, we can't think of a better addition for The CW's adorably zany new comedy.

Jane the Virgin airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
