As Terra and her boyfriend Joe Gnoffo are both little people, parenting a child together means a higher percentage of brain damage or underdeveloped lungs for their baby.

"Our pelvic structure is curved due to our back, and so we have to have a C-section," Terra says in the clip. "It's a health risk."

Their daughter, Penelope Charlevoix Gnoffo was born on March 16 at six pounds, two ounces, but there's still a long road ahead.

"I know the baby could have a lot of health risks with her dilated ventricles also taking on the dominant gene from both Joe and I," Terra says. "I'm overjoyed but slightly freaking out at the same time."

Terra's Little Family airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
