"Get my car back!" Heard commands a "police officer" taking pictures of her on his cell phone.

Things quickly took a turn when Heard sees that the people she believes to be officers aren't taking her case seriously. Former ET correspondent Chris Jacobs hosts the reality show, revealing the backstory for the prank.

"Working with Johnny, it was cool because he's such a down-to-Earth guy and he loves the creative process," Jacobs told ET.

Depp also called Heard's dad, David, to set up his bride.

"They come up and we act all star struck," Jacobs said, describing the prank. "Chip [Foose] is taking surreptitious pictures and Amber's getting pissed off."

Foose is the famed custom car designer giving Heard's car a surprise makeover, turning it from a heap of metal to a cherry red stunner.

"I bought it as kind of a driveable piece of junk, a beautiful piece of junk," Heard recalls in one of the sneak peeks. "The car cost me every dime I had."
