She pleaded not guilty and her attorney tells ET they're attempting to extend the date for filing motions. Miller's legal team does not expect much activity in the case until next year.
Miller is carrying on with her work through the obstacles she faces.

"My parents taught me, 'Hey, you go back in there tomorrow and you put your chin up in the air and do this, that and the other thing and you ignore those people," Miller told ET.
While Miller is trudging through, her girls will also have to find a way to keep their heads up during the legal saga.
"Debbie Allen wanted to welcome our girl, so if Abby's not prepared, there is a studio that wants us," one of the moms says in the clip.
Dance Moms returns to Lifetime on Jan. 5.
