She said yes … again!

Jane the Virgin shocked fans on Monday's all-new episode when Michael popped the question in a spur-of-the-moment proposal, and only Entertainment Tonight was on set with the stars for the big moment.

"The proposal, I think, is perfect," leading lady Gina Rodriguez recently gushed to our cameras. "We haven't shot yet, so you guys are seeing me pre-proposal. I'm nervous about it, but I'm really excited. It's funny because, emotionally, I cried during the table read, so I'm super excited."

Brett Dier revealed that he had a similar reaction when he read the proposal on the page. "When I read it, I got super actually excited and really happy for him, and I also got teary eyed," the actor dished.

Rodriguez, who has always confessed to ET about being on "Team Michael," revealed that she's excited that the "nice guy" will finally get the girl. "I love nice guys," she spilled. "He's so attentive, and he's fought for me for so long, and that just pulls at my heart strings. So I've definitely always been 'Team Michael.'"

In Monday's heartwarming hour, Michael asked for Jane's hand during a completely out-of-the-blue moment just outside of the hospital where Petra gave birth to her twin baby girls.

"I don't think Michael was preparing for this," Dier explained. "I think he's kept this ring in his pocket for a while, like a couple weeks maybe, but I don't think he was preparing for this particular moment. He heard Jane say something very specific that kind of made him go, 'Okay, I'm doing this. This is it.' It was kind of like a gut instinct, and just going with your heart type thing."

Rodriguez revealed that spontaneity of the proposal made the moment even more "swoon-worthy" and special. "Yeah, I think every girl's going to be like, 'You gotta do it like that!'"

"Yeah, My poor future whoever is screwed!" Rodriguez said with a laugh in regards to her own romantic future. "That's right. That's so true. I'll [be] like, 'I've been proposed to, like, four times on this show, so it better be really good!'"

Jane the Virgin airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
