Billy Ray Cyrus
is coming back to TV!

The singer and actor is returning to the small screen in a hilarious new role, playing a slightly-less-wholesome father figure than his doting dad character from Hannah Montana, Robby Ray Stewart.

In Still the King, which premieres June 12 on CMT, Cyrus plays “Burnin’” Vernon Brown, a former country star turned Elvis impersonator, fake preacher, and parolee.

“I’m like Phoenix,” Vernon quips in the new trailer, though he’s not talking about the mythological bird. “Like the city: hot, dirty, and old women love me.”
