Front and center in the clue-filled key art is Jaimie Alexander (Jane Doe), with Sullivan Stapleton (Special Agent Kurt Weller) right beside her.

With the ominous tagline “Trust No One” towering over Alexander and Stapleton, Blindspot promises to ramp up the conspiracies in its upcoming sophomore run.

In the dramatic season finale, an angry Weller arrested Jane after learning that she had been lying to the FBI the entire time about who she was after discovering Taylor Shaw’s bones. Not only that, Phase 2 of the grand plan involves a government takeover -- surely that won’t be pretty.

Executive producer Martin Gero also warned fans to expect a different version of Jane in the coming season.

“The great thing now is that it’s all on the table. Everybody knows everything now,” Gero told TVGuide.com in May. “And so, this kind of subterfuge that was happening between our leads is just not sustainable anymore. So, whether they like it or not, they’re going to have to start to work together as a team.”

Blindspot
premieres Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
