The biggest stars on stage are set to be honored at the 77th Tony Awards on June 16.

On Tuesday, former Tony winners Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Renée Elise Goldsberry announced the nominees for the 77th annual Tony Awards live on CBS This Morning and finished off the list of nominees at the Sofitel New York.

Recognizing the best in live theater, the Tony Awards cap off a strong year for Broadway, which saw several successful revivals and the debut of a slew of popular new shows.

Earning the most of any production, Hell's Kitchen and Stereophonic came out on top, with a total of 13 nominations each, followed by The Outsiders with 12. Additionally, Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club and Merrily We Roll Along were the most recognized revivals of the year, collecting 9 and 7 nominations, respectively.

When it comes to the acting prizes, Merrily We Roll Along's Jonathan Groff, Daniel Radcliffe and Lindsay Menendez each earned nominations for their respective performances.
