Blake Shelton Consoles Gwen Stefani After 'The Voice' Live Elimination

The cute couple also teased each other about their wardrobe choices before Tuesday's show.

Things are getting intense on season 17 of The Voice -- thankfully, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have each other to lean on!

With hopeful contestants going home every week, the coaches are having to say goodbye to some of their talented team members, and Tuesday's elimination show was no exception. The Top 11 were winnowed down to the Top 10, and, after a live vote from America to save the final singer, Team Gwen singer Myracle Holloway ended up being sent home as Team Kelly crooner Shane Q was saved.

"Sorry about Myracle," Shelton told Stefani on her Instagram Story, as the two rode back from the stage together.

"It seems so unfair," Stefani answered. "She's so talented."

"We're to the point where, nothing from here on out is gonna make sense," Shelton noted, before joking, "The only thing that will make sense, is if my team wins."

The pair were joking with each other all night, particularly over their wardrobe choices. As Stefani waited for Shelton to come out of his dressing room, she explained the reason for the hold-up: "He got new cowboy boots, so he's like, 'Ooh new cowboy boots!' Like it's a big deal or something."

Stefani was also sporting some impressive footwear, wearing thigh-high black boots for her epic performance in celebration of the 15th anniversary of her debut solo album, Love. Angel. Music. Baby. -- with special guest Eve -- and shorter, white cowboy boots with her coaching ensemble.

"Hey, I like those cowboys boots," Shelton exclaimed in another Instagram video. "I like those legs more, that go into the cowboy boots."

The couple spoke to ET before Monday's live show, opening up about their plans for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

"We all fly out to Oklahoma, like 30 of us," Stefani said of her family tradition with her beau. "Blake has this bed and breakfast hotel that we all stay at, and it's just pretty incredible. We have fun, we all cook together, it's fun."

"This'll be -- I wanna say the fourth [year], but it might be more than that," Shelton added of their festive family meetup on Lake Texoma. "We're taking all the Stefanis and then the Shelton bunch are gonna meet up there and just literally [spend] like, five days away."
