'Blindspot' Sneak Peek: Patterson Starts to Lose It Working 24/7 to Take Down Hirst (Exclusive)

NBC

ET exclusively debuts a sneak peek from Friday's episode.

The clock is ticking for the Blindspot team's secret quest to take down shady FBI Director Eleanor Hirst.

In ET's exclusive sneak peek from Friday's episode, titled "Fix My Present Havoc," the gang sets up shop, making Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Weller's (Sullivan Stapleton) apartment a second home base outside the official FBI walls as they work day and night to investigate Hirst (Mary Stuart Masterson), who they've just learned is working with the enemy.

The Blindspot crew's around-the-clock investigation, however, is clearly taking a toll on their mental state, as Jane and Weller observe when it comes to Patterson (Ashley Johnson). "Morse code? More like horse code. So dumb!" Patterson snickers on an early Saturday morning, slightly delusional from lack of sleep.

But Jane and Weller receive a surprise holiday present for Weller's young daughter, Bethany, from dear Roman (Luke Mitchell), the puppetmaster behind their current chaos. "Merry Christmas, Bethany. Love, Uncle Roman," the note reads. Creepy! Of course, there's a method to Roman's madness -- the guy does everything for a reason -- and they soon realize the alphabet blocks he sent are actually clues. Watch the exclusive clip below.

Blindspot airs Fridays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
