Host James Corden also admitted to stealing something from Mariah Carey’s house!
Drew Barrymore and James Corden both got very candid when faced with the prospect of downing disgusting delicacies on Wednesday night’s Late Late Show.
Playing a game of “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts” with actor John Boyega, the late night host and the Santa Clarita Diet actress each shared some shocking truths with the audience throughout the gross-out game.
At first Barrymore, 43, refused to rank her recent talk show appearances from best to worst, saying, “I’m going to have to drink this because you seriously picked three of my favorite people.” Because of this she was forced to drink a glass of bird saliva.
Determined not to ingest another nasty treat, Barrymore was willing to answer her next question. She was asked to rank three of her co-stars from most to least talented or be forced to eat a turkey testicle.
She finally gave in, saying Adam Sandler was the most talented, Hugh Grant was the second most, and Jake Gyllenhaal was the least.
“When I run into him next time, I’ll be like, dude, it was selling you down the river or eating turkey’s balls,” Barrymore said of Gyllenhaal, whom she co-starred with in 2001’s Donnie Darko. “I’m sorry, Jake, it was the turkey testicles!”
Corden, 39, also opened up, revealing a deep secret of his, when asked if he’d ever stolen something.
“I mean, my wife’s heart,” he quipped to start.
He then shared a “completely true” story that he’d never told anyone before.
“I once stole a candle from Mariah Carey’s house. I’ll tell you why, though! These candles, they say ‘Mariah Carey’ and there’s a butterfly on them,” he explained. “We’d gone to film this Christmas Carpool Karaoke. I went to go to her house and we were going to film it from there. We were supposed to film at 3 and I was told get there at 4 and they’ll probably be ready. I waited in her living room until about 6:30 just on my own, and I thought, well, I’m going to take this candle just for my time.”
