Celebs got into the 'Star Wars' spirit with epic red carpet styles at the film's star-studded Hollywood premiere on Monday.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiered to epic fanfare in Hollywood on Monday, and stars got into the spirit with some pretty epic red carpet styles -- including some amazing tributes to beloved characters.
The Force was especially strong with Star Wars actress Lupita Nyong'o, who was channeling Princess Leia with her stunning red carpet style.

The Oscar winner, who literally shined in a bejeweled silver and crystal floor-length gown, paid homage to the beloved character with a sophisticated take on Leia's iconic hair buns.
Modern Family star Sofia Vergara wore David Webb jewels and also rocked Leia's hair buns for the big night, and looked truly jaw-dropping while walking the red carpet with her new husband, Joe Manganiello.
While Vergara rocked a more traditional tribute to Leia's 'do, hair buns aren't the only style the rebel princess is known for.
Singer Janelle Monae also showed Leia some love by sporting the princess' famous long braid, from her time as a pleasure slave to Jabba the Hutt. However, Monae's metallic ensemble was clearly more droid-inspired than "golden slave bikini"-inspired.

Leia herself, Carrie Fisher, walked the red carpet and the princess looked as regal as ever in a midnight blue velvet gown and a black, crystal-encrusted jacket.
Fisher and her daughter, Billie Lourd, were all smiles as they posed for photos on the red carpet, and the two could not have looked more excited.
