Zayn Malik can now add designer to his resume.
The former One Direction singer seems to have taken a cue from girlfriend Gigi Hadid, and landed his own design gig, partnering with Versus Versace for a capsule collection.
The Zayn x Versus line, including menswear and womenswear designed in "close collaboration with Donatella Versace," will drop May 2017. A percentage of the net proceeds from the line will be donated to charity.
Malik will also star in the next two Versus ad campaigns, starting in February 2017.

"Zayn is one of the most exciting personalities on the world stage right now," Donatella Versace said in a press release. “When we first met, he told me how much he loves fashion. I thought it would be fantastic to collaborate on a new Versus collection together. And, given Zayn's huge fan base around the world, I expect there will be a lot of excitement about what we create together."
"I think Versus has always been a very cool brand," Malik offered. "I've always wanted to design clothes, and there's no brand I'd rather design for than Versus. The bonus is that I get to collaborate with Donatella, whom I love and admire. I know we'll create something amazing."
The 23-year-old singer also expressed his excitement on Instagram.
"Thank you @donatella_versace for welcoming me into the @versus_versace family !" he captioned a black-and-white snap of himself and Donatella on Wednesday.

Malik's foray into the fashion world is hardly a surprise. In fact, the "Pillowtalk" singer opened up about his future as a designer in the August issue of GQ.
"I'm being very, like, blessed at the minute by God or whoever it is, fate or whatever, so um, there's a lot of offers [coming my] way at the minute with different things to do with fashion," he revealed. "And hopefully I get involved in all of them."
In addition to his fashion collaborations, Malik is also heading to television, developing a show inspired by his time in One Direction.
