This fashion show was most certainly too cool for school.
On Monday night, Rihanna showcased her FENTY PUMA Fall / Winter 2017 Collection at, of all places, the National Library, in Paris, France -- and the fashion show didn't have your typical runway! Instead, the models -- including Kristen Stewart's rumored girlfriend, Stella Maxwell -- walked down a long table complete with books and reading lights for ambiance.
The venue perfectly captured the school-like theme of the collection, which included lots of bright colors and varsity lettering. The collection hopes to embody the classic American social circles and cliques in high school, including the nerds, jocks, skaters, preppies, goth kids and bad girls.
"When I was in school, it was always my dream to be able to dress up in whatever I wanted," Rihanna, the brand's creative director, said of the line. "But in Barbados it was mandatory to wear a school uniform, so I had so much fun this season creating these back-to-school inspired looks, and I'm honored to present the collection in such a majestic national monument."
While it was hard to miss RiRi when she hit the runway in a neon yellow, floor-length fur coat, there were also some famous faces in the audience supporting the 29-year-old singer.
Salma Hayek and husband Francois-Henri Pinault were spotted at the fashion show, and even posed with Rihanna after the big event.
Model Cara Delevingne, 24, was also in attendance and while she didn't walk the runway, she did give her pal a standing ovation from the front row. Other celebrities at the show included Future and Nick and Joe Jonas.
Another fan of Rihanna's FENTY line is none other than Mariah Carey. The 46-year-old singer wore a pair of FENTxPuma heels while "working out" at the gym last month to the delight of Rihanna. "I love her. I think she's beautiful and amazing," Carey gushed to ET when asked about wearing RiRi's fashion line. "I love her shoes. I love those Pumas!"
