It was all about earthy reds and browns as Hollywood hit the red carpet at the 49th NAACP Image Awards in Pasadena, California, on Monday.
The awards show recognized the achievements of people of color across film, television, music and literature, and the stars pulled out all the stops for the big night.
Halle Berry wowed in a deep red-and-black, strapless Reem Acra gown with risqué, sheer slits climbing up to her torso, which she paired with black stud earrings. With a glittering train and her hair in an updo, the 51-year-old actress looked flawless as she took the stage to present the Music Makes a Difference Award to Charlie Wilson.
Always on point, Kerry Washington donned a custom black silk-and-wool duchesse gown from Michael Kors Collection. The Scandal star accessorized the billowing dress with a silver bracelet and earrings.
Entertainer of the Year Ava DuVernay donned a dramatic long-sleeved, wide-leg jumpsuit.
Black-ish star and Best Actress in a Comedy Series winner Tracee Ellis Ross shined brightly in a RodriguezRodriuez copper paillette embroidered blush silk dress, Tiffany and Co. jewels and Louboutin World pumps.
This Is Us star Mandy Moore stood out in a floor-length, pale blue gown, which contrasted nicely with her bright red clutch.
Queen Sugar's Bianca Lawson was a stunning lady in red, matching her ruffled spaghetti-strap gown to a ruby lip.
Jurnee Smollett-Bell looked positively ethereal in a delicate, lacy off-white sleeveless gown.
And, how cute is Lonnie Chavis? Getting in on the red trend, the This Is Us star looked suave in a patterned jacket, slick black shirt and black pants.
