Once a Fly Girl, always a Fly Girl!
In Living Color fans are feeling all the nostalgia this week!
Hours after Bruno Mars dropped the music video for the remixed version of "Finesse" featuring Cardi B, which pays homage to the iconic '90s sketch show, Jennifer Lopez took it one step further by posting an epic throwback video to Instagram.
Before Lopez became the pop star we know and love her as today, she got her start on the show in September 1991 as a member of the Fly Girls dance troupe, busting out her best dance moves on the dimly lit set. "#TBT," she captioned the clip. "#inlivingcolor #onceaflygirlalwaysaflygirl #killinitsinceforever."
And although the New York City native has yet to officially share her thoughts on Cardi B and Mars' video, she seemingly approved of it by adding the hashtag "#finesse" to her throwback post.
One thing's for sure, fans on social media can't seem to get enough of Cardi B's hot verses on the retro-flavored track. "Just watch the @BrunoMars and @iamcardib #FinesseVideo and I’m literally dying, crying??, and jumping with joy," one fan raved. "#Shooketh. Literally shaking."
Mars teased earlier in the day that the video was "dedicated to one my favorite T.V. shows of all time," thanking series creator Keenen Ivory Wayans and Fox Studios for allowing him to make it happen.
