The music manager opened up while promoting his new Destiny's Child tell-all book.

Mathew Knowles, the former manager of daughter Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland during their years in Destiny's Child, is opening up about a "poor decision" he made that led to a troubling situation.

Knowles -- who is currently promoting his new book, Destiny's Child: The Untold Story -- sat down for an interview with VladTV and revealed that in the early days of the group, he decided to put "both Destiny's Child and Jagged Edge on the same tour bus."

According to the music manager, this ended badly and resulted in Beyonce and Rowland allegedly being harassed by two members of the all-male R&B group, although he didn't mention any particular members of Jagged Edge by name.

"Now remember, the girls are minors. They're 16 years old. The guys are 21, 22 years old," Knowles said. "I have a fiduciary duty with minors, by the law. There's a certain way I have to manage that."

"I got a call from Kelly and Beyoncé... saying that they were constantly being harassed by two of the members in Jagged Edge," Knowles continued. "I couldn't have that."

"I literally had to put the guys off the bus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana," Knowles added. "That began all of this drama."

He addressed the situation with Jagged Edge one final time when asked how he, as a father and not a manager, dealt with grown men trying to "sleep" with his teenage daughter.

"We won't talk about that on camera," Knowles said with a slight laugh. However, in the interview, he did not expressly confirm that the alleged harassment was necessarily sexual in nature.

ET has reached out to the members of Jagged Edge for comment. Neither Beyoncé nor Rowland has publicly commented on Knowles' remarks.
